BOOK CLUB

This group is open to anyone who is interested in reading and reviewing books.  This club includes a combination of parishioners from St. Elizabeth Ann and St. James.  We meet April through October on the fourth Monday of the month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Center.  There is a $10.00 fee to cover the costs of the book reviewer.  CONTACT PERSON: Jean Linse, 402-493-2728

 

BRIDGE - WOMEN'S 

Plays on Thursday mornings at 11:30 a.m.  Session runs from September through May, third Thursday of the month. If all spots are filled, there is a substitute list available.

BRIDGE

Plays on the second Friday of the month at 6:00 p.m. and ends around 9:00 p.m.  Season runs from September through May.  It can be couples or any two people.  If all spots are filled, there is a substitute list available.

GOLF

Friday Night Men’s – Plays on Friday evenings.  Session runs 22 weeks, from April through September. This is a joint group of St. Elizabeth Ann and St. James parishioners. MELODRAMA/OLIO

This annual show is put together and performed by registered St. James and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parishioners who are out of high school.  You can volunteer for onstage acting, singing, or dancing, or you can volunteer to help backstage with things like costumes, makeup, props, etc.  Auditions for the Melodrama (play portion) and sign-ups for the Olio (musical and comedy portion) take place before Christmas.  Usually, rehearsals begin in early January and performances are held over two weekends toward the end of February.

SOCIAL RECEPTIONS/GATHERINGS

These parishioners help to organize and serve at functions of special recognition. They also provide the baked goods. They assist in coordinating volunteers for such events such as the reception after the Easter Vigil and parish picnic volunteers.
