      Youth Ministry
Since 1992, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton has ministered to the youth of Northwest Omaha. Originally based on the LifeTeen Program, Overflow activities serve the spiritual, educational, emotional and social needs of teenagers. Coordinated by Hannah Keisling along side parish volunteers and under guidance of Fr. Frank Baumert, the program is Eucharistic-centered, family-oriented and peer group-focused. Regular Overflow “nights” begin with the parish community at 5:30 p.m. every other Sunday with celebration of Mass and are followed by activities driven by the Gospel message of the day or season. Each year a fall and spring weekend retreat are offered for all the teens from both St. Elizabeth Ann and St. James.  See below for more information about the next retreat.

        Overflow Core Members
Parish volunteers serve in several areas of ministry including evangelization, catechesis, social justice and music ministry. Through regular involvement and commitment to regular activities, these volunteers provide leadership, support, knowledge of church teaching and the ministering presence of Christ to the teenagers of the parish.

      Youth Ministry Support
Providing support to key parish ministry efforts, these volunteers provide guided assistance “behind the scenes” in serving the overall goals of parish youth ministry. These invaluable supporters give time and talent to activities such as providing snacks for the night time meetings, providing assistance for special events and prayer ministry.
